Sustainable Agronomy

The word Agronomy comes out  from two Greek words:  Agronomy αγρός and νόμος that mean field and norm . Research and development activities  and technology transfer in the sector of Sustainable Development of the Primary Production , SSPP , are intended  to increase productivity and economic profitability of agricultural production by limiting the impact on the environment and climate. The overall objective is to improve the competitiveness of the primary production through the strengthening of a bio-economy based on the knowledge, paying particular attention to the needs of sustainability and quality of production . The operational approach is to promote the network involving the world of agricultural production,  the agro - industry and research for the design of solutions to be transferred to the productive world .
